Locking and Unlocking an Engagement

When an engagement is locked, it is still viewable in read-only mode. However, you cannot make changes to the engagement without first unlocking it. We recommend verifying that you have all necessary sign-offs and that there are no outstanding diagnostics before locking an engagement. Also, all notes that are not marked to roll forward are deleted.

The icon displays in the Status column for locked engagements. When you unlock an engagement, you are required to provide a reason for unlocking the engagement.

ClosedLock an engagement.

Warning:  Locking an engagement deletes all notes in the form that are not set to roll forward, unless the All Notes that are not marked as ROLL-FORWARD will be deleted check box is cleared.

  1. If you are not already on the All Engagements page, click .
  2. Locate the engagement in the list.
  3. Click in the Actions column for the engagement.
  4. Select Lock > Lock.
  5. Click Confirm.

ClosedUnlock an engagement.

  3. Click in the Actions column for the engagement.
  4. Select Lock > Unlock.
  5. Enter a reason for unlocking the engagement.
  6. Click Unlock.
